The Slush Puppy is a fun loving board that's built on performance foundations with a freestyle flair. This unique directional board has a 3D boat-hull-inspired nose that makes light work of spring slush, and is at home tearing apart the park, slashing, launching, bonking, tapping, and jibbing everything you can set your sights on. When the temperatures rise, the sun comes out, and the snow softens up, there are few boards you'd rather have under your feet.
Board Type: Park
Camber Type: PurePop
An evolution of traditional camber, PurePop places subtle flat zones outside your feet to amplify pop and add a more playful feeling to the camber. Early rise tip and tail get your contact points out of the snow quicker, reducing catch and enhancing float.
Flex: 5.5/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)
Twin Flex - This board is constructed the same at both ends to give a smooth ride while riding regular or switch.
Shape: Directional
This shape features a longer nose than tail, which concentrates pop in the tail while providing extra float and control in any terrain.
Core:
FSC Certified Super Fly 800G - Light and loaded with Pop, this core uses dual-species wood in dual density vertical laminations to reduce weight and stay strong.
Dualzone EGD - The wood grain of the core is positioned along the heel and toe edge on two unbroken zones, perpendicular to the rest of the core. This gives consistent edge hold and strength.
Squeezebox - Squeezebox consists of thicker, more powerful sections combined with thinner, more flexible sections profiled throughout the core. This enhances energy transfer and makes the board snappier and more stable.
Triax Glass - A fibreglass layup that increases torsional stiffness, resulting in a more poppy and responsive ride.
Base: Sintered
This base made from a durable and highly porous base material that provides added strength and wax absorption for long lasting glide.
Additional Features:
Infinite Ride - Burton is able to maximise pop and performance by overbuilding their boards in the factory, and then using machinery to break it down for you. This allows your board to ride the same from day one, to day 100, season after season.
Pro Tip - A thinner tip and tail means reduced weight and swing when in the air. helping you to send it!
Super Sap Epoxy - Super Sap is a bio-based resin that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional petroleum-based epoxies.
