We finally perfected the blue morpho butterfly, the ultimate symbol of metamorphosis! Cleansing waters, bright skies, light piercing through the blues. The bright blue color comes from the combination of the deep London Blue Topaz wings with the mother-of-pearl. In this way, this butterfly actually came from the ocean! I like to think it came from the Blue Grotto in Capri, southern Italy.
We were so excited to make this piece that we filmed and uploaded photos before we finished setting the prongs, but, the prongs will be set before it ships!
Butterflies represent hope and transformation.
